Biography
Born in 2003 into an artistic family of actors, Bogdan is one of the most promising pianists of his generation. He won First Prize at the Mozart Competition in Salzburg (2026), where he also received the Audience Award and the IGNM Special Award. He took First Prize at the Santa Cecília Piano Competition (2025) and First Prize, the Audience Award, the Chamber Music Prize, and the Junior Jury Prize at the Málaga Piano Competition (2025). Earlier, he won Second Prize and the Chamber Music Prize at the Maj Lind International Piano Competition (2022).
He has appeared as a soloist with the Mariinsky Symphony Orchestra, Helsinki Radio Symphony Orchestra, Orquestra Sinfónica do Porto da Casa da Música, Norwegian Radio Orchestra, Málaga Philharmonic Orchestra, Serbian Radio Orchestra, Belgrade Symphony Orchestra, and the Royal Strings of Saint George. He has collaborated with conductors including Valery Gergiev, Ion Marin, Anna-Maria Helsing, Roberto Tibiriçá, Dorian Keilhack, Eivind Aadland, Bojan Suđić, and Srboljub Dinić.
Bogdan has performed in major concert halls worldwide, including the Berliner Philharmonie, the Mariinsky Concert Hall, the Helsinki Music Centre, Auditorio de Tenerife, Casa da Música, the Great Hall of the Moscow Conservatory, Stormen Concert Hall, Teatro Cervantes, L’Atlàntida de Vic, the Belgrade Philharmonic Hall, the Ilija M. Kolarac Endowment, the Sava Center, and Act City Hall in Hamamatsu.
A graduate of the Mozarteum University Salzburg, where he studied with Professor Pavel Gililov, Bogdan currently continues his artistic development with Professor Konstantin Bogino at the Accademia Perosi in Biella.
